Lost Distillery Co - Dalaruan Micro Batch

Whisky is a huge part of Scotland’s history and culture. Yet almost half of our distilleries have now closed, to become Lost Distilleries.

Our Archivists and Master of Whisky engage in a balance of science and art to understand how the original Whisky might have tasted and blend modern malts to breathe life back into the distillery.

Dalaruan Distillery was born after an all-night conversation with a gauger about the whisky industry. Four local entrepreneurs built Dalaruan in 1825, one of over thirty distilleries in Campbeltown. A key part of Campbelltown's monumental whisky boom, with an outstanding reputation for quality spanning the Empire. Dalaruan was lost during the spectacular collapse of the industry and auctioned for closure in 1925. Until now.
