With only 6900 bottles produced worldwide, the World Whiskey Society's Japanese Single Malt finished in Mizunara barrels is a limited-release edition and part of the WWS’s Reserve Collection.
 
Composed of 100% Australian malt, it is rich and full, sweet, and easy to drink. There are vanilla notes and chewy fruits. With the addition of water, what seemed to be simplicity is replaced by a sophisticated mix of lemongrass, lemon, lime, and exotic spices
 
The American Distilling Institute’s (ADI) annual International Spirits Competition (ISC) designates the top spirits in each category as Best of Class, while the leading spirits in each sub-category are designated Best of Category. 
 
 In 2023,  Best of Class,  Best of Category, and a Gold Medal went to World Whiskey Society Japanese Single Malt Whisky.
